Fort A.P. Hill Family & MWR Catering supports military units, organizations, and eligible patrons with professional catering services for meetings, conferences, ceremonies, and special events. Our team will work with you to determine the best menu, service style, and setup for your event.
Request a Quote for Private Catering
Step 1: Email the Catering Group Box at Contact Us Today! Answer the questions provided. FMWR will only communicate with the POC and only the POC will be allowed to sign for and/or request modifications to a contract.
Step 2: FMWR will contact you within 2 business days via email and may call to obtain more information.
Note: Any modifications to a contract must be requested and approved in writing and will require a new contract to be signed by the POC. POC will be required to have their information entered into our RecTrac system.
FMWR will only secure its catering services with a signed contract. Verbal agreements of any kind will not be accepted.

Fort A.P. Hill Catering supports a wide variety of events, including:

Menu selections and event details must be finalized 30 days prior to the event.
Full payment and final guest counts must be confirmed 10 business days prior to the event.
A signed catering contract is required to secure the event date.
MWR cannot sponsor guests or submit/arrange for installation access. Failure to gain access for your attendees will not be grounds for a discount or refund.
- Catering Policy

All functions are tentative until Fort A.P. Hill receives a signed contract. A 20% service charge will be applied to all contracts. Complete payment is due five business days prior to scheduled function date. Payment may be made with Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, and Star Card. Payment is the responsibility of the contract holder. FMWR A.P. Hill no longer accepts cash or check.
With the exception of special occasion cakes, all food and beverages will be provided by Family and MWR catering.
Menu selections and all details must be finalized 30 days in advance. Final number of guests attending is required 10 days prior to the event.
All catering services are limited to a maximum of four hours. Serving time cannot be delayed more than 30 minutes from the contracted start time and will not exceed the contracted end time. Arriving late will not be grounds for extending service.
- Alcohol Policy

Only FMWR alcohol services will be allowed. No outside food and beverages will be are to be brought to the event location. No alcoholic beverages may be sold to, served to, or purchased by anyone under 21 years of age. A valid drivers license will be required as proof of age. Should a guest under the age of 21 be discovered consuming such alcohol, the event POC will be required to make immediate arrangements for the guest to be removed from the installation.
- Damages and Loss

Guests are responsible for any damage to the facility during the contracted times by any of their attendees. Family and MWR does not assume responsibility.
