Car Wash

The car wash and vacuums accept quarters and tokens. Four quarters will start the car wash and will give you four minutes of wash time (each additional quarter will give you 59 seconds). Four quarters will start the vacuum and gives you five minutes of vacuum time. Tokens are available in the CAC for purchase. One token is worth $1.00 and gives you four minutes of wash time. One token will also give you five minutes of vacuum time.

Contracted Unit Feedings

All meals are served cafeteria style and include a meat entrée, vegetable, starch, bread, beverage and dessert. Bag lunches and warming beverages are also available as well as all preparation for field feedings, which include all utensils and disposable products. Field feedings must be picked up from the DFAC and all containers returned after each meal. The unit must provide all marmites and beverage containers. Family and MWR can also prepare TISA issued rations. Methods of payment include Visa, MasterCard, unit checks, cash (lump sum only), or Purchase Agreements using Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items. Please note that we cannot accept MIPR's. All changes to headcount or feeding times must be made 72 hours prior to the function. Fort Walker's Outdoor Recreation program offers fishing, hunting, camping and rental items. We also have great picnic areas for your next family reunion or special event. We rent pull behind super cookers for a great price. Our team is here to support and supply all of your outdoor recreational needs. Call or stop in to check out the outdoor recreation facility.

Recreational Lodging

Fort AP Hill recreational lodging offers three types of accommodations to meet your needs: Our cabins, cottages and motel style rooms offer the perfect getaway location. Set in wooded areas and scenic lakeside settings, these facilities attract outdoor and nature enthusiastic from all over the region. All of our facilities are fully furnished with linens and kitchenware included.

Whitetail RV Park

General Info The RV Park is located between Richmond, VA and Washington DC tourist attractions. For vacationers, cross-country travelers or those just taking a weekend away from the house, the RV Park is the perfect place for some nature quite time. Peaceful nature filled campground offers thirty 20/30amp and nine 50ampfull hookup sites. 2 sites are water & 20/30amp electric only. Sites are equipped with asphalt/gravel pads, picnic tables at each site. Outdoor charcoal grills are placed at a number of sites for use (charcoal grills) 24 hour access to RV Service Center that is equipped with restrooms, showers, coin laundry, direct TV and free Wi-Fi. Within walking distance of the RV Park is a family friendly pond with canoe rentals and nature hiking trails. The RV Park is also in the center of a great mix of outdoor activities on Fort A. P. Hill to include hunting, fishing, kayaking and boating. Outdoor Recreation may receive UPS and FedEx services only. (No U.S. Postal Services) Please use address above. Location: RV Park: From the main gate follow A P Hill Drive and then take a left on Campbell Rd., and the RV Park will be located on the left. Check-in Office, Outdoor Recreation: From the RV Park go back out to A P Hill Dr then take a left on A P Hill Dr and then take the third right in a big parking lot across from a water tower. Reservations are not accepted. Sites are provided on a “First-Come, First-Served” basis. Please setup in any open site. Once you comfortably setup in your site you then will need to check-in at Outdoor Recreation. Outdoor Recreation after hour’s check-in guest will need to pick up an information packet from the green box at the RV Service Center. Rates: Regular rate: $21.00/night and $480.00/month America the Beautiful Senior/Access Pass: $13.00/night and $390.00/month.
